Happy Birthday Babe!!!!

Ping Pong


Derek just had a birthday and I got him a ping pong table. We have an unfinished basement with lots of room to play. He loved it. I had all sorts of surprises for him but........ lets just say I am a horrible planner and nothing ended up being a surprise. O' well. We had fun anyway. Horrible picture, I know.

Thank goodness for good friends!

We went to St. George to visit our good friends the Pfunders. Kevin and Marolyn have 4 little girls Lauren, Morgan, Addy and Lilly.
Kevin has pre-arranged for Lilly and Canyon to get married some day. We have started their scrapbook for them. ha

I bought Canyon a full on snow outfit with the coat and the bibs. When I got them in the mail I decided to try them on. I don't think he liked it too much.

Canyon was having issues with getting off our bed so I caught him dangling here for quite awhile. I think he was working up the nerve to jump the rest of the way down.

He didn't know it but he was pretty close to the ground. He was laughing and I was laughing, it was good times that morning.

My Tough Football Player

Yes, BYU football is like a religion in our house. We always get together with family and have big parties to watch the games. So that is what inspired our Halloween this year.

I was dying to take Canyon to the pumpkin patch this year, I thought he would love it. Well maybe had the day gone better and he got his nap he would have. I could not get him to smile the whole time. O'well there is always next year.

All the Cousins

Canyon loves hanging out with all the cousins, big or small. Its so fun because they are all very close in age. Dereks mom is getting two more grandkids this next year so our family is rapidly growing. The house is loud and crazy when we are all together so it makes for a good time.

Here's what's going on...................

So much that is New!! There are no pictures yet but I will post them soon.

We Moved! Yes, finally our house is done and we moved last week. We love it! I hate living in boxes, so we unpacked pretty quick and we are somewhat settled. The ward has 5 nuserys so in a month when Canyon can go, I don't think he will have a hard time finding friends. I think there are more kids in our ward then adults. That is how it seems anyway. We have made great friends that live close to us.

Another exciting news is I am Pregnant! I am about 13 weeks and getting bigger faster. We are very excited to find out in a few weeks what we are having. Canyon and the baby will be almost exactly 2 years apart.

That is the new news for now. We now have the internet so I should be getting back into the blogging world a little more regularly.

qua.......CK

We took Canyon to feed the ducks last night. The whole ride there he was telling us what the duck says. Its a quiet qua... with a strong CK. It is cute.

The ducks were not that interested in our bread but Canyon was. Every now and then he would throw one that he had been chewing on.

After we took him down the slide and he loved it. I was shocking him the rest of the night.

Still alot to do......but here it is.

I was changing Canyon and I went to pull off his shirt and this is where it got stuck. I thought he would freak out but instead, he thought it was hilarious. I was laughing so hard and he was laughing so hard I had to take the picture. This is blackmale for later in life!

New Background

I thought this would loose all of my progress so I was a little hesitant, but as it turns out it was very easy. I like this one better anyway. Cute huh? (I know I get excited about the dumbest things.)

My camera broke a month or so ago so I have not been able to update for a while. So I am back and have a lot to update so don't miss anything. Our lives are pretty exciting!! (haha)

Were Off

Derek and I just got back from Florida. We went for a family reunion as well as a great vacation. We had tons of fun and are a little sad to be back to real life. This is where it starts!

This is Canyon on our 4 hour flight to Florida. We put the tables down in front of us and made a little bed for him. He was so good for being confined for so long.

We happened to be in Florida for his farewell talk. It was great!!

This is my cousin Jarrett Lipsey. He lived here in Utah for 4 years then he moved back to Florida, then came back here for college, then went back to Florida to receive his call and guess where he is going............. Salt Lake City Ut. How crazy is that. I couldn't beleive it. I guess the Lord knows what he's doing, cause I don't! He will be the greatest missionary. I love him to death and wish him the best of luck!!!

Spider Man lives in Florida?

My cousin Britt through a birthday party for her 4 year old and it was a Spider Man theme. He loves Spider Man. She had all sorts of thing for the kids to do. At the end she had her brother dress in the Spider Man costume and get on the roof. The kids all ran over and couldn't believe it. Then he sprayed silly string at them. You know, like a web. It was a hit with everyone except.............

Tampa Rays Baseball Game

Its always fun to go to a pro baseball game. We spent a fortune and had ballpark hotdogs, fries and drinks. It was great.

I love sitting where the water rushes up on shore. It's a great way to get sand in all sorts of places.

The water was so warm, nothing like good old utah water.

Canyon wasn't sure about the sand moving under his feet.

We went to a big party on Peir 60 that they have every summer night. There are entertainers and vendors of all kinds. I didn't get pictures of the party, but I couldn't pass these up.
