My brother is taking the plunge!!

This is the happy couple. My brother Jesse made his engagement official a couple weeks ago and I am so excited for him. Rachel is from Seattle and they met at work.

Their big day is August 29th in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. I am so excited for them and I am glad to have Rachel in our family. She is definitely a great addition.

Love you guys!! Congrats!

Sweet Dreams

Gotta love a sleeping baby. Don't you wonder what he is dreaming about?

Grass!! I am so happy!

We finally have grass in the backyard and I couldn't be more excited about it. Our front yard is like a sledding hill right into the road so its hard to let Canyon play out there. I would be chasing balls in the road all day, so I am excited to have a flat backyard where he can play. Eventually when people build behind us we will get a fence around the backyard, but for now it is open.
This is my brother Tyler who was so kind to come help. Thanks Ty!! :)

5 Years and Counting.......................

Yesterday was our 5 year anniversary. Crazy. Derek doesn't read this much so I will keep the cheesiness down to a minimum. I am so grateful to be married to such an amazing guy and there isn' t a day that goes by that I don't think of how lucky I am. Derek is an amazing husband and an amazing dad!! If you ever read this,
I love you tons!!!

I don't have any of our wedding pictures on my computer so here are a few pictures of us through the years. Crazy how time fly's, then before you know it, its been 5 years and 2 kids later!

There was a donut under the chocolate?

Derek brought donuts home for breakfast on Saturday and Canyon wanted the chocolate one.

He didn't get much of the donut.

You know your a mom when...........

I was just looking for the cheese and I found the letters.

Bowling w/ the cousins

We love bowling!

Canyon loves to push the ball down the little ramp but he is way to excited to watch it hit the pins.

This is my neice Paityn. She is a little poser.

"Watch your fingers" was the most used phrase while we were there.

Little Disclaimer: Bowling is the one sport I can beat Derek in. I guess all those family bowling nights to the BYU bowling lanes paid off. Good memories.
